Finally, the picks of the week. Alex says, “My 4K Pick of the week is going to be Picnic at Hanging Rock, and nothing else this week (outside of maybe Doom Patrol) really grabs me.” Blaine says, “nothing grabs me this week.”
I heard a few good things about Lisa Frankenstein. Lost in Space was fun, but the CGI did not age well. I recommend the Netflix series instead.
Lisa Frankenstein wasn’t well received in my house, except by the eleven year old. I was surprised to see it was made by Zelda Williams (Robin’s daughter.)
That’s too bad. I was optimistic Zelda Williams could nail it. Also, I liked Diablo Cody’s writing (I found Jennifer’s Body actually fun).
I also saw Wish, which seemed to be designed as a warning message about Disney, but with a Disney ending.
