  1. except…
what you didn’t mention is that it will be released on some crappy Sony platform, rather than the PC, so it’s utterly useless. Thank you, emulation. You can probably even get better translation in Emulation (though, there isn’t much to tranlate in FF1)

Not to sound like a Sony fanboy, but the PSX/PS1/PS2 is the best console platform (Nintendo will eventually go the Sega way and XBox will always be a M$ POS; IMNHO). As for PC versions, like you said, emulation takes care of that. So why get all POed about it?

I just wanted to say that this guy is a moron. Sony ass kissers are a dime a dozen – these are usally NEWBIE GAMERS. Do your market research KID! Nintendo will stay afloat for the next 50 years off profits from the gameboy advance alone. Not to mention ALL the games they put out. The Playstation dominates the US market which is like a grain of salt compared to the asian market. Nintendo has been around for over 100 years – yes 100!!! I think you need to do a little more research before opening your mouth. Learn the facts.

Grain of salt….yeah we have so much less free time and MONEY than the asian markets. tell that to the hundreds of thousands of people in the orient that can’t read. maybe you can explain to them the importance of saving your game before fighting a boss

First off you ignorant moron, Nintendo WILL go the way of Sega. My I remind you of the evidence that is so clear to see. One, Remember the Virtual boy? Me neither..Nintendo 64 that lived for all of 2 months..the only breakthru games for that was zelda and 007. Sega, if your too young to remember, came out with MANY systems that never made it. The only one that did was Genisis and that lasted a short while itself. Gamecube will last only as long as it is popular and by using a mini-DVD system to load games, this won’t take long to pass either. DVD hold so much storage anything can be done with a game, mini-DVDs hold a fraction of that. Remember Cartridge systems, the reason they went the way of Sega is they can’t hold to much storage. Sony got it right BTW. DVD, FULL DVD storage and FREE online gaming. Nintendo has the portable market, no arguments here. But Sega still makes games..I bet you didn’t know that. As for the best platform, I have to disagree, PC offers so much more than console systems. I’ve been playing console systems since calicovision(Have your dad tell you what it is)and NES was the best for its time, as was SNES, N64 was not, except for its graphics. PS2 is the system to rival and with Microsoft having you PAY for online action I’m curious to see its future. The only evidence I need to see on what gamecube will be in 2 years is the games. If they release games like they did on N64, they are doomed. Again SEGA, they always had the best hardware, their games just SUCKED for the most part. Before you open you trap, maybe YOU should do some field research. Your mom’s calling you, I think its time for you bath. Brush your teeth and go to bed, you have first grade in the morning
