Tonight Angel moves to its new time slot, which was formerly occupied by Birds of Prey. It’s the first of six new episodes.

What? Something good on TV on a wednesday? Odd…

Hmmm, according to the ad we get to see the amazing Cartath(sp?) boy get his ass whupped by big daddy Angel, hurrah for vampiric child abuse! : )

So it turns out Angel wasn’t mad at his son, and saved him, not fought him…still, a damn fine hour of TV.

Hell, a building full of zombies is never boring ;- )

I Still wanna Know What Caused Them. We dont Know If It Was The Beast, Or Wolfram And Hart. Whey Said It Was Wolfram And Hart, But They Didn’t Say It With Enough Convincing Conviction, I Thought.

Also, Anyone Else Think Lila Got Impregnated By The Stomach Peircing Touch Thing?

They’ve Left Nothing But Options For Where To Go For The Rest Of The Season. I Did Also Notice That Next Week It Looks Like They Got The Electicity Chick To Help Them. I Wonder Who Else They’ll Bring Back In Their Buffy-Paralling Army Assembly. I’d Love To See The Dimension Hoping Blue Haired Chick Again.

        That, And Numfar.

  2. I missed the previous episode
Can anyone help with a little background on the previoues ep. On Buffy, Willow mentioned that the first evil tried to get Angel to kill himself, but I was hoping for a little info before I watch tonight.

The first evil’s attempt to get Angel to kill himself was in Amends, a season three episode of Buffy. There has been no mention of the First Evil on Angel this season, but the thing that came out of the ground looks (to me, at least) like the wispy thing that tried to possess Willow when she was casting a spell.

The most recent episode of Angel had a creature break out of the ground where Connor was “born.” He proved to be bulletproof, and creamed Angel, Wesley, Gunn, and Lorne (I think) in battle with little effort. When fire started falling from the sky, Cordelia became afraid that the world would end, so she invited Connor to share her bed “so he could experience something real.” That part didn’t seem to work from a character standpoint, but it works from a production standpoint if the rumours about Charisma Carpenter’s pregnancy turn out to be true.

Ah…I missed the beginning of that ep (can’t remember why I couldn’t make it home before 11:30 on sunday though…).

        Thanks! : )

This was a reference to an old episode of Buffy, not the most recent eps of Angel. There may be a tie-in between the two, but that wasn’t what Willow was talking about. See here for the old Buffy episode:
