The next week of the door crasher drought is upon us.

Black Butler – Season 2: Complete Collection (Limited Edition)
Comes with artbox sized to hold this season and season 1.
Howl’s Moving Castle
Motto To LOVE Ru Complete Collection
Season 2 of To-LOVE-Ru Yeah, the box art makes it look like porn, but it’s not – it’s just a fan-service heavy harem comedy ala Urusei Yatsura.
Okami-San and her Seven Companions (Limited Edition)
Comes with mousepad. About a rather tough high school girl, Ryoko Okami, and a meek boy – who tries to toughen himself up after Okami rejects his confession of love.
Polyphonica Crimson S Complete Collection
As with the earlier series, the box art makes this look like porn, but it’s not. Actually, according to this series wikipedia page, the game based on the novels this show is based on got the Japanese equivalent of an E-10+ rating, so I don’t know what is up with that box-art.

Finally, the picks of the week. Alex says, “This week I’d recommend giving it a pass. Maybe – maybe consider getting Chinatown if you don’t have it already, but otherwise there isn’t anything that screams “must buy”.” Blaine says, “I still haven’t gotten around to watching “Miracle Day” yet, but I picked it up via iTunes. That’s the only title that’s even tempting as a recommendation. Aside from that, you’ll be seeing “not this week” a lot until May.”

  1. Well, Howl’s Moving Castle remains one of anime features most accessible to people who aren’t into anime.

  2. I don’t know if it’s a re-release, but “The Corsican Brothers” is coming out. And I’ve already pre-ordered it.
