  1. So what’s going on in the Green Lantern universe? Was there any lasting impact from Blackest Night at all? I followed that event closely through your posts and it seemed to land with a thud by the end.

    • It did get certain balls rolling. Most of the impact was in the Brightest Day titles, including Hawk and Dove, JLI and Hawkman. For Green Lantern, the War of the Green Lanterns had bigger implications, with Hal losing hiring to Sinestro. That’s what led to the new status quo that is playing out in each of the Lantern titles. For my money, Corps and New Guardians are the titles that are most worth reading. GL is okay but not spectacular, and Red Lanterns is the only title in the franchise I plan to drop.

      • I know you’re a busy man, but I wish you would do more comic event recaps/reviews/thoughts on here. They are always a good read!
