I haven’t posted any of my video reviews here in a while, so I’m going to try and get some of the back-log up here, so you can see what you’ve been missing. First up, my review of one of the odder titles I’ve reviewed in a while – El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron. For those who are at work and can’t watch the video right now, I’ve added some notes.

Notes: El Shaddai is a game that really would have worked better as a platformer. The rhythm based combat has some real problems to it that get in the way of the gameplay. However, the excellent jumping controls in the 2D sections, along with the gorgeous visuals more than make up for it.

Final Score: 32 out of 42.
