Finally, the picks of the week. Alex says, “this week, I’m going with The Samurai Trilogy. It’s not the best Samurai film that Mifune was in (that would be Yojimbo), but those three films still would be up in my top 10 Samurai films of all time. Anime fans should also definitely pick up Lupin The 3rd: Season 1.” Blaine says, “The Artist is on my must see list, but of the titles I’ve seen, I’ll recommend Criterion’s other release this week, The 39 Steps directed by Alfred Hitchcock.”
