Weekly Digital Disc Picks – September 4, 2012

This week sees a lot of the same Universal 100th Anniversary titles that came out in other weeks, now in previously unavailable formats. We’ve also got a large number of Halloween product, as we always do in September, to make room for the Christmas titles in October. Don’t worry if that confuses you; I don’t understand it either.

Finally, the picks of the week. Alex says, “Nothing really sticks out in my mind. I might add Irohanihoheto to my Netflix queue, but that’s about it.” Blaine says, “I raved about Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein and Harvey when they hit Blu-Ray, and those comments stand for the DVD release.”

  1. That Potter set looks very well done but I really wonder how many people will drop $500 on it.

    More than a few, I’m certain, but it would be interesting if they ever publish sales data on it.
