As many problems as there were with the 1984 version of Dune, I’m still kinda sad its out of the running.
True, but on the upside, we’ve decided to start doing podcasts about these before the tournament is over. We’ll start with eliminated titles so they don’t influence responses to those getting voted on. (Exceptions may be made for podcasts to movies with sequels coming out in the very near future.) We’ve got guests lined up for some, and we want all of these to be conversation podcasts (i.e. more than one person), so if anyone out there wants to join a podcast via Skype to discuss any eliminated favorites (or eliminated movies that you hate), you can contact me at [email protected].
The version that the Sci Fi Channel put out was pretty good.
And I liked the 1984 film. Not super-duper fantastic fabulous, but I thought it was decent.
