Finally, the picks of the week. Blaine says, “the Criterion edition of The Man Who Knew Too Much (1934) is definitely going to be worthwhile. I also enjoyed the first season of Merlin when I caught it on Netflix.”
Ah, yes, The Man Who Knew Too Much. You know they’re making a sequel, right, It’s called The Man Who Knew Too Little. Yeah. It’s gonna be the life story of INSERT NAME OF POLITICAL/CULTURAL FIGURE HERE!
Ba-dum-bing! Thank you very much. I’ll be here all week.
They already made The Man Who Knew Too Little, first as an episode of the 1985 Alfred Hitchcock Presents, then as an episode of Due South, and then as a Bill Murray film.
Sorry for not getting my picks this time – this week has been slightly nuts with school – For my pick, I’ll say that The Man Who Knew Too Much is on my list of shame – and I intend to rectify that, and using the Criterion Collection release to do it is as good a way as any.
