writes, I don’t know how many bureau42ers read the quirky
comicstrip Monty
(formerly Robotman); whether you’re familiar with it or not,
you should check out the last two weeks worth. Starting on June
16, the daily Monty comics have been running a story that is
a great parody of The Matrix for the comicstrip
world. The story arc skips the Sunday (June 22) strip, but
continues on the Monday.
That’s nice
However, you might also want to check out PvP Issue #5 at Image comics online for Scott Kurtz’s take on The Matrix, using his ever-so-popular PvP characters. You’ll have to scroll about halfway down the page to see it.
In addition, while you’re there, you can also check out Brian Michael Bendis’ brilliant Powers comic, something for which I am eagerly anticipating a collection of.

Man, that is one fat cartoonist…
But while we’re linking matrix cartoons, check out Sinfest’s Matriarchy
and Matriarchy Revisited storylines.
Cute, but…
he’s spoofing the first film. Hello, it’s been 5 years. Did the cartoonist _just_ discover the movie or something?
Re: Cute, but…
There’s usually a few weeks or months turnaround between creating
and printing a strip. It may be that he missed the first when it was really
relevant, and sat on a plotline until the sequel came around.
Limited Time
Be warned: the comics.com site only shows the last 30 days of a comic for free. So in another few weeks, the link in the article will be invalid.
Read it while you can.
I can’t believe I missed this thread…
… here is my two cents (well, its actually from MacHall):
Voip! and Very Advanced Voip!… :-)
