  1. Buffy season 5 release delayed.
I had a pre-order for Buffy season 5. Amazon.com e-mailed me to inform me that the release date has been canceled, they can’t offer me the item, etc. etc. So does anyone know when it will be released now?

  2. Region 2 Buffy DVDs
Well, impatient me just got the region 2 version of Buffy Seasons 5 & 6 from Amazon.co.uk. I must say I’m impressed. The packaging is a bit nicer then the region 1 DVDs and the picture is formatted for 16×9 aspect ratio televisions. They ended up costing about $85.00 each. If you have a widescreen HDTV and can play region 2 dvds, or if you’re just impatient like me, it might be worth the extra bucks to buy the region 2 DVDs.

I am just as impatient. How do you know if your dvd player will play the region 2 dvd’s? Just curious. I don’t want to buy them and then have no way of watching them. But they say season 5 will be out in december. Do you know if that is still sccurate?

If you bought your machine in North America, it probably won’t play
region 2. Multi-region players are so rare here that I really, really doubt
you’d have paid for one and not already known it was multi-region.
They’re something of a specialty item. However, a
        PlayStation2+GameShark2 makes a multi-region player, if you’re really
        interested.
