  1. Season 1 DVD
Well, I can’t wait for the season to start. I picked up Season 1 on DVD yesterday to kick things off (I haven’t watched any yet, but just owning it makes me happy). Let’s hope they let up on some of the love triangle drama with Clark/Lana/Chloe. But Chloe is way hotter, in my opinion. She’s my kind of girl.

  2. Season 2 Finale?
Anyone have a link to the season 2 finale that I could get? I managed to miss it both times. First time we were moving and second time I messed up the TiVo season pass thing and missed part two, it conflicted with a wife’s TV show

Did anyone else read this an admission of bigamy?!

Not necessarily. He didn’t say it was his wife.

They covered pretty much everything in the big “intro to tonight’s episode” teaser.

  3. Review?
Now where’s the review of the premier? Usually it’s here when I get to work first thing. Not that I expect whoever writes them to stay up into the wee hours writing it so we can have it first thing the next morning.

I personally loved the premier. Some parts were a bit on the cheesy side, but what show doesn’t have some “cheese” these days. And just like last weeks CSI, they just HAD to end it with a cliffhanger didn’t they? Ah well, at least the wait is only a week.

There was a vote over the summer for which show I’d review. (I only
have time to do one.) Angel won 5 to 4 over
Smallville. I may still do Smallville reviews in
weeks when Angel is a rerun and Smallville is
new, but that would be the only time.

Ah ok. No biggie. Not like I need to review to decide if I liked it or not. :)

  4. Does anyone else hate…

… that stupid scar on Clark’s chest? They’d better get rid of it, especially if they don’t want any weird questions once Clark returns to town.

It was nice to have Smallville back, but on the whole I wasn’t too impressed by this premiere. Maybe it will improve in Part 2. In just about every scene with Clark in Metropolis, all I kept thinking was “he’s seriously blowing his cover; what will the ramifications of that be?” They had better follow up on his overt usage of his powers.

Lana still looks like a 12-year-old, especially when Kristin Kreuk is in a scene with Tom Welling. Where was Pete? I’ve always been a Chloe fan, but something about her in this episode just rubbed me the wrong way, though I can’t quite put my finger on it. The Magnificent Bastard was magnificent as always. Helen seems to have done a 360 in terms of her personality. I found I didn’t care one bit about the Lex scenes. In fact, I missed a bit there at the end; who was that guy who found Lex and told him there was no one else there on the island with him?

About the only thing that I did care about was the Kents. I wish we had seen more of what they’ve gone through for the last three months.

I must say, though, that the ending really made me sit up and take notice.

Or a 180. ;) The guy that found Lex was from a passing boat that saw his fire. He said that those islands do weird things to people’s heads (ie: they go crazy or something).

Oh, right. Can I blame that goof on my lack of caffeine this morning?

That’s what I do. :) The darn caff and decaf coffee machines aren’t labeled. Grrrr…

I have to ask, if Helen has known all about Clark for a while now, and she’s been in league with, as he’s been so eloquently called, the Magnificent Bastard, wouldn’t *he* know all about Clark too? He’s clearly got a lot of it figured out already anyhow…

That’s assuming, of course, that Helen is completely open with the
MB. Somehow, though, I think she’s keeping secrets from him and vice
        versa.
