  1. Worth watching?
I can stand to watch another episode or two of Travis ;-)

It wasn’t as bad as I was afraid it might be, but I’m disappointed they felt it necessary to give him semi-super human powers. He was just raised in the jungle — the apes didn’t genetically alter him! So, we’ll have to see. I might believe he could hide in Central Park if he’s smart enough to be still in the daytime, but I don’t believe he could freely roam the city if everyone’s looking for him.

There is precedent for Tarzan being more than just raised by Apes. Look into Tarzan Alive by Phillip Jose Farmer and the Wold Newton Universe. Basically some of Tarzan’s ancestors were irradiated by a meteor so while not really superpowered he is smarter/stronger/faster than normal humans. No he wasn’t genetically altered but he might as well of been, same effect.

It would have to be some kinda crazy good show to drag me away from Ms. Garner on Sundays. :)

Clearly, you haven’t spent enough on toys! I my DirecTiVo with two tuners ;-)

It’s true. I’m sorry to say that I’ve been coasting on the same unmodified 20-hour (really only 8 hours on high quality) Panasonic Showstopper ReplayTV since my local Good Guys got their first shipment years ago. I haven’t even spent the meager amount of money (they’ve been on sale for $99 twice and I’ve passed) it would cost to get one of the DishNetwork PVRs.

On the other hand, I do have Xbox, Gamecube, PS2 and two GBAs, so I haven’t been neglecting gadgetry entirely – I’ve just been watching fewer TV programs. :)

          The admission.

Thaks to our foul-mouthed friends over at penny-arcade : )

And er…the ad made it look like Tarzan had super powers. I was vaguely
interrested until they named the show.

So, uh, does that mean I should be embarrassed to further reveal that I do indeed have an eReader as well as a bunch of Animal Crossing eCards? Thirty-one years old and I’m still not out of my first childhood…

The difference between men and boys is the price of their toys.

Though I’m not sure that’s true any more, unless you leave the geek world and get into cars, etc.
