Comments Alex: Koko Hakmatyar is an arms dealer, who has recently taken on amongst her bodyguards a rescued child soldier from SE Asia, Jonah. While Koko carries out her business she begins to lay out a secret plan to put herself out of business by ending global war, while also trying to avoid violating Yuri Orlov’s (Nick Cage’s character from the film Lord of War) first rule of arms dealing – Don’t get shot with your own merchendise. In the second season, Koko has to contend with a CIA SpecOps team which would like to subject her to extraordinary rendition, while she puts the finishing touches on her plan. However, when Koko unveils her plan, some of her bodyguards, particularly Jonah, get second thoughts.

Finally, the picks of the week. Blaine says, “Hitchcock and Criterion are great on their own, so they’re easy to recommend when they’re working together. Pick up Foreign Correspondent. Also, I’ve been toying with the idea of an Alfred Hitchcock podcast: let me know if that’s something of interest to you, either in the comments or via e-mail.” Alex says, “I’m going to end up renting or buying Game of Thrones Season 3 at some point, so I might as well make it my pick, even though I haven’t seen it yet. As an alternative option, Jormungand is a very well done show, and definitely worth checking out.”
