Star Trek: TOS and Voyager on DVD by the season

TV
Shows on DVD
has received confirmation that both
Star Trek: Voyager and Star Trek: The Original
Series
will be released in complete season sets through
2004. The original series is already available, but only in
two-episode packs that tend to really add up in price.

  1. TOS.. Finally!
Voyager I could care less about. It was the seecond trek (after DS9) to fail to capture my attention.

I geuss TNG is the best trek we’re gonna get.

You should give DS9 another chance – the first two seasons weren’t very good, (it was going up against TNG during its prime at that point in time) but once DS9 hit the whole Dominion War storyline it was brilliant.

Actually, that’s when I thought it went down the tubes. The best episodes were the ones developing the story of the Cardassians: if Garek or Gul Dukat were primary characters in the episode, it was guaranteed to be good. I also liked the stories with Vic the lounge singer too — the one where they got him to help Nog get over losing a leg was one of the best DS9 episodes.

  2. Brilliant!
So you can buy two sets, one for keeping and watching, the other for
    burning.

“It was a pleasure to burn.” – Fahrenheit 451

(If you don’t know which is which, well, I can’t decide whether I pity or
    envy
    you.)

  3. hm.
i’ll stick with my original 40 DVDs at $10.99 ea.

heaven help me if my wife ever does the math.
