Comments Blaine: This shorter, final season is not available in Canada’s iTunes store yet, which means I’ll actually be watching it on DVD when someone picks up a copy in the US and brings it back to me a week after release, and this will still be faster than getting it digitally. USA Network, please set up a consistent Canadian partner to avoid this insanity.

WWE Presents: The Ultimate Warrior – The Ultimate Collection
Amazon
  • Blu-Ray: US, CAN

Comments A new DVD set with The Ultimate Warrior which is less of, well, a direct character assassination than the earlier “Self Destruction Of The Ultimate Warrior” set.

Finally, the picks of the week. Blaine says, “the last season of Psych is the title that interests me the most, but I haven’t actually seen it yet. Of the titles I’ve seen, the first two seasons of Newsradio were excellent, especially at this price.” Alex says, “This week I’m going with the new release of Fargo, if you don’t already own it. If you do, I’d recommend picking up Princess Nine instead – as it’s a very well written and very underrated sports anime.”

  1. Psych Season 8 was full of mixed feelings. On one hand, they had lost some of the magic from the earlier seasons and seemed to not have a clear/good direction, but on the other they did have several hilarious episodes that were probably a mix of ideas they had but needed to burn off quickly since it was the end.

I didn’t care much for the Anthony Michael Hall episodes, but I really liked the last few with Mira Sorvino. It ended well, in a way that could spawn several spin-offs that will never happen, but we can dream.

  2. A lot of this is rereleases of stuff that came out on DVD ages ago (Newsradio for example).

I thought Action was a hilarious show. I got the DVD last time it was released (:
