Comments Alex: A spinoff of the the Super Robot Wars series (but with the licensed characters from various anime removed). The general premise (alien technology ends up on Earth through crashing meteors, it gets reverse engineered for the purposes of building giant robots, and then the aliens who built the technology show up) is pretty much cribbed from Macross.

Comments Alex: DVD focusing on various factions, stables, and teams from the history of Pro Wrestling (or at least the parts of it that are in the WWE’s tape library). Sadly, Raven’s Flock & Nest (from WCW and ECW, respectively) appears to have not made the list.

Finally, the picks of the week. Blaine says, “it’s easy to recommend An Adventure in Space and Time.” Alex says, “I’d recommend picking up the Hugo Award Nominated film Doctor Who: An Adventure in Space and Time – especially if you’re going to LonCon or are otherwise planning on voting in the Hugos.”
