  1. Except that, unlike those other Canadian films you mention (TPB the film doesn’t live up to the series), Ginger Snaps is a good little film. I suspect its rerelease now connects to the creative team’s recent success with Orphan Black.

  2. The funny thing is how many movies are made in Canada.

    I’d… I’d really recommend /against/ getting the Rankin/Bass version of The Hobbit.

    • As far as the Rankin/Bass Hobbit version goes, that’s just of the stuff that’s coming out this week. I enjoyed the movie a lot as a kid (and I’d say I liked the Rankin/Bass versions of The Hobbit and The Return of the King a lot more than the Bakshi version of The Lord of the Rings).
