WWF Sues Fox, X-Files

Vince McMahon, of the World Wrestling Federation, sued Chris Carter, Ten Thirteen Productions, and Fox in a surprise legal action earlier this morning, claiming that their show “The X-Files” is confusingly similar to the wrestler “X-Pac”. Microsoft is planning a countersuit, claiming that since they’re a bigger company, they own all rights to the letter “X” and are claiming it for their “X-Box” home entertainment system. Sesame Street could not be reached for comment.

  1. X Men Get In On The Action
Marvel Comics also sued Fox for Dark Angel having a hero (Logan) in a wheelchair like their own Prof. Xavier in the X-Men comics. Using a genetically enhanced main character also infringed on their Wolverine franchise, Marvel said, noting the Seattle locale for Dark Angel was right next to Canada, home of Wolverine – another rip off.

this is what happens when you become a pro wrestler. Your brain shrinks to the size of a pea.

I was afraid someone might take that seriously. I’m glad everyone noticed the date on which it was posted, and responded appropriately. :)
