A Surprise
I was delightfully surprised to see Finding Nemo get a nom for Best Original Screenplay. It’s got no chance of winning, but it’s still nice to see animation make it into the “serious” categories.

…that unless it’s a booring ass movie it doesn’t get nominated for Best Picture…
I’m pretty disappointed at the snub to my favorite hobbit Sam (and to Sean Astin). They are going to win the consolation Oscars and the ‘real’ categories go to everyone else.
