Well, it’s finally here. It’s not much to go on, but we finally get a look at the new Fantastic Four coming in August.

Fantastic Four

Alien Outpost

Not sure what to think, but I like to give the benefit of the doubt to indie sci-fi. Mostly because that’s where some of the more creative ideas come from within an industry mired in remakes, reboots, and adaptations. That said, I’m not sure if this is going to be anything except your basic military sci-fi action flick. And the ugly, entrenched warfare in Afghanistan metaphor is none-too-subtle.

Batman vs. Robin

This is the sequel to the direct-to-disc animated movie, Son of Batman. By and large, I’ve liked all of DC’s straight-to-video animated films and Son of Batman was no exception.

At least they kept the Vince Guaraldi. If they hadn’t, there would be hell to pay.
