  1. before even seeing it
From the ad, it seems Lana’s new BF is controlling her mind again…

I stand by my previous guess: Lana’s kryptonite necklace gave her the
mutant power of being irresistible to othe meteor freaks. ‘Cause they’d
    better have an explanation…

    • Re: before even seeing it
Hey, I’d support that theory, except, GFD!, I was too engrossed in the final three eps of the West Wing Season 1 on DVD to realise what time it was. GFD!!

Warning, link may be extremely hazardous to your health.

PS – Did I miss much?

And he is Bruce Wayne under a pseudonym! Damn!

Did I miss something? It certainly makes my post below irrelevant if true.

  2. Lois Lane
Ah! I’ve been calling her “fake Lois Lane” ever since the series started!
    W00T! : )

For such a subtle throwaway line buried in show, it was quite a large shoe they dropped there. Kudos! Now the question is: is it really Chloe who turns out to be Lois, or does her cousin get the journalism bug after something awful happens to Chloe? If it’s Chloe, it *really* makes the “blue suit vs glasses” disguise unpalatable. If she already knows there’s something going on with Clark, she couldn’t possibly be fooled.

The same would go with Perry White though, as after that episode earlier this season he obviously has some major suspicions. It wouldn’t take much for either him or Chloe to put two and two together and come up with Clark Kent, so I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if they were both in on the secret with Chloe being Lois, to which I also say W00T!!1! (I knocked over my water in a fit of excitement when she said that)

That would make a lot of sense… Darn, that means they’ll never do it ;-)

  3. Holding out hope.
I can only say that I was extremely happy the villain [this week] didn’t turn out to be Lana’s new love interest. I’m going to continue hoping that he turns out to be just a regular guy. For a small midwestern town, those seem to be in rather short supply. Leaving him normal gives him a lot better chance to be interesting, IMO, because we’ve already seen enough of the “Lana and/or Chloe Dates New Guy Who Turns Out To Be Evil and/or Super-powered” bit.

      Just wait until next week…

Seriously, I agree. Partly because I really like Ian Somerholder — he did such a great job in Rules of Attraction, and he’s doing a great job here. But they’re definitely setting him up with his own share of secrets: Lana is clearly attracted to “Men Of Mystery”. It should be interesting to see what his mystery is…

Maybe Alfred, his buttler, will tell us? ;- )

      her sender adress huh?
