  1. okay ep

On the whole, not a bad episode. But I really hated how Alicia’s (I think that was her name) teleport effect was noticable both visually and aurally except when we were supposed to be surprised by her appearance (e.g. behind the door, in Clark’s bed, etc). I am glad, though, that the episode didn’t end with her half-stuck in a wall or something. But I was disappointed that we never saw her kill anyone by teleporting only part of their body. When she mentioned how she could ‘port anything she was touching and wanted to take with her, I was sure they were setting us up for that. Since we didn’t see that, I think the emphasis in that line was a little weird.

And maybe I missed it, but what happened to her after Clark put the kibosh on her Lana-killing? Is she is some lead-lined prison cell somewhere? I’d like to see her come back as part of a “Clark Kent Revenge Squad” assembled by the Magnificent Bastard.

I thought it was funny how, when she was cradling Clark’s head and kissed him, even though he was suffering from kryptonite exposure, Clark kissed her back! The poor boy is so desperate for some lovin’, he’ll even take it from psychos!

There was “some sort of blunt trauma” to the back of her
father’s head. I assumed she teleported a piece of his
head away, and the coroner explained it in terms s/he
could understand. As for her, there was no wrap-up, but
it’ll depend greatly on the amount of lead paint she
      managed to swallow.

Huh. I just thought that he was down in the basement, she teleported in, locked it, clobbered him, and then teleported out.

Anyway. You can just tell that Lionel Luthor is going to be one of those classic villains who can’t ever go for or think of the obvious! If he was getting the videotapes from Belle Reve, you’d think he’d have figured something out from all the mutants who clearly blame Clark. Or that he’d just simply bug the Kent’s house.

He really needs to read the Evil Overlord list.

Or is there some kind of Villain’s Minion’s Union that requires that any evil plan has to be hatched with maximum Minion involvement and that competency cannot be a job requirement?

  2. How many people are know about Clark now?
What is he going to do about a secret idenity? Evey week
somebody finds out. Why LL(sr) needs to recrute dead people
is beyond me. Just ask the dopes Clark sent to jail.
Next week Cloie must find out. The preview looked like Clark
was tell her that his blood was being used to raise the dead.
“Your blood Clark. Why would your blood make any difference?”

Well at least the truck made it through the ep. How many
    pickups have they wrecked?

Nah. Just some sneaky editing. You can see a slight red tint in the hair of the person he is talking to, so I suspect that it is his mother.

They don’t know much about Clark, other than his powers. I think LL wants much more than that (though it would be a very significant start). As for the dead guy, how better to control a person than to use somebody who needs a drug to live that only you can make… With the stakes as high as they were (trying to get somebody close to the subject’s girlfriend, whom also is one of your son’s business partners), it makes perfect sense as to why he used a dead guy. Control.
