The series does the inevitable “hero loses her powers” episode, but they give it a good spin, making this ep one of the strongest since the pilot.
We also learn Hank Henshaw’s true identity and, if you haven’t heard already, it’s not the one we were led to expect.
Thankfully, the visuals are far superior to last week’s take on the Red “If I Only Had a Heart” Tornado.
It was a marked improvement over last week. That said, nothing especially noteworthy sticks out about the episode aside from the reveal of Hank’s identity, which my wife and I predicted a couple weeks ago :-)

It’s not the one we were lead to expect? Who were we lead to expect?
Also, who’s the “one living human being” who knows his identity already?
I didn’t know the character’s name but when I looked it up, the comic character with that name he had an established history as a Superman Villain: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hank_Henshaw (Cyborg Superman) so presumably we were to assume that is who he was supposed to turn out to be in the long run.
Add Hank’s comic-book identity to the glowing eyes and hints he might be a villain, and you have a pretty good misdirection.
