Invader Zim was perhaps one of the oddest and most original cartoon of the last decade. Created by Jhonen Vasquez who also created the comic books SQUEE and Johnny the Homicidal Maniac, Zim is an alien from the planet Irk sent to conquer the Earth.

I’ve only seen a couple of episodes of this show. But they were quite good,
and now I’m going to buy the DVD’s just to finish watching them.
Can’t wait!

Yeah, I came into town one new years to hang out with old friends a few years back. They were all quoting Zim lines left and right. Within two days, we had watched all the episodes that existed on the internet at the time, and I knew the lingo.
But what is with Dib’s head?

i bought bootlegs dvds of zim on ebay sometime last year, and have been waiting anxiously for the official dvds. i left my bootlegs in pittsburgh when i moved across the country and don’t get nicktoons, if they even show it anymore, so i’ve been going through withdrawal.
