Monday Night TV Discussion: Supergirl, Gotham, and Lucifer

Supergirl (who will receive a proper review next week) contemplates letting yet another person in on her secret, while J’onn J’onzz reveals more about his past (“Manhunter”).

Over in Gotham, Nygma leaves a trail and Bruce runs with Selina. The Penguin meets his father (Paul Reubens), but it’s Gordon who faces possible exposure (“Wrath of the Villains: Mad Gray Dawn”).

Meanwhile, Lucifer joins forces with a priest over a drug operation (“A Priest Walks into a Bar”).

  1. I would watch the poop out of a show where Supergirl and Lucifer met in Gotham.

  2. This week’s Lucifer was my “Oh this show is good ” episode. Good acting, good plot, they managed to get really good emotional content for a character that was only just introduced, etc.

When I heard “A show about the devil taking a vacation from hell and going to L.A.,” I did not expect it to be a police procedural. But it works.

  3. Supergirl: OK, not nearly as good as last week. Seemed too easy of a resolution.

Gotham: How many times are they going to imprison or otherwise accuse Gordon of crimes and prove his innocence? *yawn*

Lucifer: Yet another excellent entry in the series, with some great character development and interesting twists going on.
