Arrow Discussion: “Broken Hearts”

“The difference between insanity and belief lies in the number of believers.”

The same might be said of the difference between romantic/erotic obsession and love.

In addition to the pithy quotation, this week’s ep of Arrow brings back Carrie Cutter aka Cupid. While she targets high-profile weddings, Quentin Lance takes the stand, Darhk is down, but not out, and Felicity leaves Ollie at the altar. Meanwhile, in the past and on the island, Ollie and Taiana find Reiter’s “ultimate power,” which looks like an old-fashioned mascot for the electric company.

You can discuss the episode here…

…or you could just watch this guy kick it Arrow style:

  1. So pissed at the writing team right now.
    SOO PISSED!!!!

I may never watch another episode.

    • Eh, it’s a drama, so they need … drama. I’m sure she’ll come around eventually. Nobody can ever be happy on a drama for any significant period of time. :-)

I’m more upset about how they keep wasting Cupid. I like the actress/character, which is more than I can say for some of the previous ones, but they need to keep her around more.

  2. I’m with Kiersten. This episode was a bit painful to watch. “I love you but I can’t be with you because reasons!” Shut up.

Felicity used to be the best character on the show (mostly because Emily Bett Rickards could work through the atrocious writing her character received) but she was just ugh this week.
