The Premise

Nisha and Koslov are continuing to hunt down a way to stop, of not reverse, the spread of the N5S Virus, while Zoichi heads for the DRF’s Maximum Security Containment Facility 3 to rescue Eon Green. However, dissention within the DRF is turning Zoichi’s rescue attempt into a three-way fight.

High Points

I appreciate the fact that not everyone in the DRF is onboard with the whole “Viral Instrumentality” plan.

Also, Nihei’s action sequences continue to be some of the best drawn action scenes I’ve seen in manga.

Low Points

The viral bio-mass monsters disrupt the flow of the issue, as sometimes it’s hard to tell what critter is chasing our heroes -is it the same one as last page, or a different one.

Emotional Response: Most of the DRF staff and troops already look like corpses, so when their civil war starts going for the troops at MSCF3, I can’t feel too bad for them. 3/6
