Space Tourist II: Judgment Day

If it’s good enough for Dennis Tito… director James Cameron reportedly is planning to hop a rocket and spend a few days aboard the International Space Station. He’ll be taking cameras, to document the trip for those of us who don’t have $20 million to spare.

  1. Will NASA approve this one?
I know NASA reluctantly allowed Tito onboard the station, but only (I think) to keep from making a major incident. The station no longer needs russian componants except for new Soyuz escape modules every six months. They may find themselves locked out of the project if they continue to ignore the other four partners in this venture. Russia is about to get a major slap upside the head as more and more nations realize the mighty bear has no teeth.
