Premise

Trapped in the past, Jennifer Goines attempts to get the attention of the future. James Cole and Katarina Jones turn up to save her—but so do representatives of the Army of the Twelve Monkeys.

José Ramse seeks out his adult son in a war zone.

Cassandra Railly remains trapped in Titan, and will not escape without her child.

High Points

Once again, Emily Hampshire steals the show as Jennifer Goines. Her attempts to contact the future and, later, to become one of the team, manage to be at once hysterical and moving. The scientists’ reactions to her return are priceless.

Low Point

I hope they figure out what to do about the “rewind” tech. Time travel creates enough loopholes; the use of this technology, while a formidable weapon and plot device, will get old quickly.

Story: 5/6 The pacing in this episode, especially in the non-Goines storylines, feels uneven. Otherwise, the season moves along, with new mysteries that will not be revealed right away.
