Finally, the picks of the week. Alex says, “Shin Godzilla is one of the greatest Kaiju films of all time, and an excellently done film.” Blaine says, “nothing in particular grabs my attention this week.”
Slither is a great little horror-comedy. That James Gunn fellow seems like a capable writer/director. Hope he makes something of himself.
I heard good things about Colossal, so I might grab that one.
Slither was good, and any fans of horror movies should check it out if they enjoyed GotG. It would make a fun science fiction double feature with Cabin in the Woods.
I’m stealing that idea and suggesting it at the local Alamo Drafthouse. That double-feature would rock. Add Shaun of the Dead plus Tucker & Dale vs Evil and it’s a horror-comedy marathon.
Wow, there’s like nothing in here.
I’m going back to last week.
…actually I watched King Arthur: Legend of the Sword. You know, so you guys don’t have to.
