Alex says, “I’m going with Sharpe: Season One – I enjoyed watching this show when PBS carried it back in the day, so I wouldn’t mind owning a remastered version on DVD.” Blaine says, “I’m going with Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2, though I’ll be getting it from a retailer that will actually sell it to me.”

  1. Sid and Nancy and Barton Fink are good films, though not for everyone. Whale Rider manages to be a different sort of family movie.

    And while I’ve not a huge fan of sandal epics, I have more than a passing curiosity about “the one where Hercules throws a bear into space.”

    Was it at a water bear? I understand they can survive in space.
