Finally, the picks of the week. Alex says, “Space Patrol Luluco is on my to-watch list, particularly since most of Trigger’s original stuff I’ve seen thus far has been excellent.” Blaine says, “I enjoyed many of the movies in the MOD DVD double packs when I bought them in a Film Noir box set, but that’s only a mild recommendation. You may be better off waiting for the traditional November doorcrashers.”
There was a 10-movie boxed set a while back, which included the documentary “Crystal Lake Memories” about the history of the series.

It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World is a phenomenal movie. I’m not sure Kids Today(tm) have the attention span for it, since the thing is like 3 hours long, and it takes a while to get going. I will say that when I first watched it I had no idea who all the (at the time incredibly famous) actors were and it was still great. Highly recommended.
I’m almost ashamed to admit how much I liked Drawn Together.
