It was nice to see that they used just about every character they could.
Very touching ending.
The only thing that disappointed was that it was over in 4 hours. They deserved a season.
Just superb
The much deserved wrap up for Farscape was indeed too short but then I don’t think I would have been satisfied with less than another 3 seasons anyway. The writing and the sheer joy that the actors display as they refill these roles simply serves to give Enterprise the metaphorical middle finger and show them what a SF series should be.

Endings
The only real problem I had with it was the fact that it actually, you know, ended. Guess theres no more coming now. Ah well, it was nice to see some of the old characters back, like Jool and Jothi. 9/10 only because it was only 4 instead of 22 hours long.

Agree with everyone else.
I found myself upset when it was over and irritated, not because the show was bad, but because I remembered how much I missed that show and the characters. There could have been so much more of their dark humor over that pregnancy had they let it go for a few months vs 45 minutes.
Man I missed that show. 4 hours, how rude. There’s always hope now that they’ll try to get John home. Oh well. Sci-Fi has a chance to redeem itself with Battlestar Galactica maybe, Earthsea looks interesting as well but I’ve hardly watched the channel since they cancelled farscape out of protest

I too agree. I was shocked and horrified and spent the next hour crying and week moping when the series ended the way it did. I was soooo very happy to have something to correct that ending and this fits the bill.
I have some complaints about make-up but generally I was pleased. If this is it – I’m ok with that. I want more, lots more – it was my favorite show… but I can live with this.

Interesting. I felt exactly the opposite. The regular series ending was completely unexpected, exactly like most of the rest of the show. I thought it was quite the artistic ending to a good run. The ending to the Peacekeeper Wars, on the other hand, seemed like a cop-out. “And they lived happily ever after” is old and tired.
I liked it.
I liked it a lot. I really, really enjoyed seeing Farscape again, and am very sad to think that there’ll never be more.
One thing bothers me, though… wasn’t there an episode where.. what are they, the Ancients? The one pretending to be Chriton’s dad, anyway, actually made a wormhole weapon which did not have the potential of destroying the universe?

That is correct. They built a one-time-usable weapon that hurled a huge ball of stellar plasma from the systems sun at a Scarran Dreadnaught, completely destroying it.
I think that what John and ‘Einstein’ were pointing out with the weapon design was that while practical tactical weapons could be built, it just starts an arms race that leads right to galaxy-eating monsters.
On another subject, is there a book form of Farscape? After watching the entire series, start to finish, in two weeks (6 hours of television a day makes for a very unproductive 2 weeks. Thank TPTB for DVRs), it strikes me that the story was pretty strong all the way through (unlike many sci-fi series). It just feels like what I imagine a proper book-to-film conversion would be like. I suppose a lot of the humor wouldn’t translate well to a book though.
Anyway, as much as I would have liked to have seen Peacekeeper Wars tripled in length, I’m glad they give Farscape a proper end, rather than letting it ‘jump the shark’ and go in a wimper. I’d much rather be left excited about the quality and wanting more than indifferent and wishing it was as good as it used to be.
I like a series that tells a good story and knows when its finished.
