I think for this one I’ll have to see it in the theatre, just to see the effects. Would be better than our 19″ TV…

so I got to see it pretty early today…
very nifty. All things considered, this movie will get me to buy a ticket and go see it. Probably won’t be going twice, though.

…but I think the teaser was kinda cool. Ok, flame on.
Just remember…
The trailer is the distillation. The movie cannot be as good as the trailer. And the trailer, while cool, was merely good and not great.

sorry but this just looked like the super cheesy ending that the super cheesy prequels deserve
fully one minute of the trailer is footage from other movies, then they show Mt. Doom, then Mt. Doom with robots, a villian that looked like the orc from the FOTR intro scene growling at the camera, then CG of some old Ralph McQuarrie drawings

I mean, they got wookies and everything!
Damn, this is gonna be like ep1 and 2 again, really exiting trailers, deceptively disapointing actual movies.
Although the imax version of ep2 was good. they had to cut a lot of Anakin’s whining to make it fit the shorter format. So you could focus on the lightsabers and the explosions :D
