Finally, the picks of the week. Alex says, “If you got season one of Iron Blooded Orphens, you might as well get season 2, and also that Gundam model looks really good (unless you prefer to paint your own stuff). Otherwise, Tsuredure Children is a generally fun, sweet little romantic comedy series that is worth picking up.” Blaine says, “nothing in particular jumps out at me this week.”
I’m very much annoyed by the lower quality digital releases of movies showing up before the 4K version.
2036 Origin Unknown was slow, but worth the watch. We enjoyed it for the low budget sci-fi it was.
Deadpool 2 was great, I am looking forward to that, too.
Unrelated, we also watched Infinity War, Extinction, and Split this weekend. Extinction was better than we expected, and takes a surprise turn. We liked it a lot more than Split. I think M. Night Shyamalan would be a better comic book author.
I’m looking forward to Death of Superman (and the follow-up, Reign of the Supermen). Superman: Doomsday was a disappointing take on story line.
That being said, it didn’t squander Doomsday like BvS did. What a waste.
The Death of Superman was a bit… weird for me. But I don’t want to spoilerfy it.
