Finally, the picks of the week. Alex says, “I really liked Crimson Peak – apparently a lot more than a bunch of other people did, and considering that Arrow Video puts a level of quality into their releases that is on par to (if not greater than) that of the Criteron Collection, I’m giving my recommendation to this release.” Blaine says, “my unquestioned hands-down pick is Notorious. It’s one of Hitchcock’s best, with an incredible cast.”
I am morbidly curious to watch the PG-13 Deadpool. Mostly because I think the runtime for that would be about 30 minutes, but it’s listed as a touch under 2 hours (the R version is 2 hours and 14 minutes).
I’m definitely not curious enough to pay for it. Or watch it if I have anything better to do. Or anything else to do. Or am bored stiff.
I am under the impression there’s a lot of extra footage of Deadpool talking to Fred Savage, and skipping over the bloody parts. (I haven’t seen it yet, but I am looking forward to it.)
