Finally, the picks of the week. Alex says, “Godannar is a Super Robot Romantic Drama anime that I think is really underrated, and I’m planning to pick up on Blu-Ray”.
Some thoughts from the list:
While reading over the list, I more than once said “There’s a trilogy of that?!”
The animated Doctor Who offerings were good.
Us was excellent (I finally saw it last week.)

And since I can’t comment on the Us review this long afterwards, I did want to respond to the final thought that maybe those girls saw the movie and hang out at the exit just to mess with people.
We joked about that, too, but they were quite young and, I think, part of a group going to a kid birthday party at a different show.
But the notion that the theatre paid them to hang around did cross our minds.
Also: The Scooby-Doo Movies “lost episodes” are the ones the original release couldn’t include because of rights issues. They still can’t release the episode where Mystery Inc. meets the Addams Family, though it can be found online.
Arabesque is good if you’re into classics. Or Sophia Loren.
But man this list makes me wonder about the incredible amount of crap they put out. Mostly I wonder who buys it. I assume well-meaning grandparents.
