Finally, the picks of the week. Alex says, “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Set 4 starts a new arc for JoJo’s, and a good jumping on point for new viewers.” Blaine says, “if you prefer digital to physical media, then definitely grab Shazam! this week.”
We watched Shazam! earlier this week. On the DCEU scale, it’s better than BvS, but I’d rather watch Aquaman. That isn’t saying much. If I were putting it in the MCU scale, it’d be below Venom, and in with the low end X-Men films. On par with the weak Fantastic Four films. (Better than Fant4stic, but I’d choose Rise of the Silver Surfer over Shazam!.
I liked it more than that. I’d put it second in the DCEU, above Aquaman and below Wonder Woman.
