Space entrepeneurs donate $3m to Save Enterprise fund!

horse… the Save Enterprise fund has received a $3
million pledge from three anonymous donors from
the new private space flight industry. The donors
state that “We think Star Trek and especially its
latest incarnation, “Enterprise” is the kind of TV
that should be aired more often” and “The
people airing this kind of TV have a responsibility;
inspiration.” Too bad they didn’t add a clause:
get rid of the current management (BnB).

  1. Well, that’s money pledged to Save Enterprise, not Paramount…
    So if it ever DOES make it that far, maybe the people at “Save Enterprise” could tack on that rider about B&B.

      That paragraph (unlike the theme song itself) isn’t necessarily a joke. The idea of the theme song, and the accompanying image sequence, fits nicely with the goals of space travel. It could almost be a commercial for NASA or a private space travel firm.

    This is a little too much to swallow. That said, you just never know. Maybe it’s true.

    The theme song thing kind of made me laugh. Good message, sure, but supurb? Hmmm..

      I hate the song… it’s just so “pansy”. the vid with it is nice though.

        I guess no one realizes that $3 million dollars would only get them maybe 2 episodes…

  4. Theme song?
    So are they still using the theme song? I sort of got the impression they’d replaced it with the orchestral “Archer’s Theme” which is in my opinion the best Trek theme of all time. They haven’t shown any episodes in the UK yet and I don’t know when they will be.
