Starting March 31st, Fox will air the six remaining episodes of Tru Calling. Both North Shore and Point Pleasant are being pulled from the network’s Thursday night lineup. No word on what will be the permanent resident of that timeslot.

AFAIK both the fanbase and the NZ ratings showed that there is appeal to this show. Any official reason announced?

My understanding is that Point Pleasent and North Shore are a steaming vacuum for ratings. Fox knows that at least some people (including some big-name critics) were watching Tru. Then again, this is Fox and there’s no predicting what they’ll do next, especially with genre television.

I thought I read that they had a few shows of Tru that were shot but never aired, and, well, might as well air them sometime…
Didn’t Tru end on a cliffhanger involving the guy who also relives days but he makes sure people stay dead instead (boy, those people LOVED quantum leap, I can tell)? I wanted to see how that turned out.

while i am glad to see the remaing episodes, they didn’t know they were being cancelled when they taped them, so I expect at the end of the episodes to have just as many questions about everything as I do now!

i am upset that they ended tru calling. It is one show on fox where it is not like the OC(which i do like) but it is different i liked how it got another type of people to what fox. then they had to go and end it when it was accually getting very interesting. i like shows with a twist and that definently had that. i will be upset if fox relpaces it with another show like the OC. I love show with that suspence and scifi thing going on. So i want to see how that turns out.
