Lost Discussion: “Do No Harm”

Very little of backstory, but what there is, is a doozy of a revelation about Jack. Meanwhile, tragedy and joy hit the island. And where’s Locke?!?

  1. Locke
Locke probably died on in the crash, and now his body is being animated by the mysterious mojo on the island.

  2. Impressed
I was impressed that they had the guts to kill off a major character. I can’t wait to see what they do to Locke now, and from the previews it looks like it will be big.

no kidding. i’d like to see a show that is willing to kill off anyone at any time (that isn’t a daytime soap). they sort of made 24 sound like that was going to happen in the show but it hasn’t…

Umm, they did kill the President this week. True hes not a “major” character, but he was the President.

No the president isn’t dead. The plane was shot down and he’s seriously hurt but still alive. They purposely didn’t blow the plane up completely so that they could have a chance at recovering the “football”.

I’m definitely on the edge of my seat to see where this is going, though I really like Ian Somerhalder. While they can bring him back in the backstory for Shannon, that’s not much of a presence. On the other hand, on this island, given what we suspect about the whole premise of the island, who’s to say resurrection isn’t coming…it would make a lot more sense here than where it’s usually been done, but to make it work, it would have to be done as part of the revelation about the island…

  3. My Thoughts.
Finally managed to watch it last night. One thing kinda hit me.
Does the island only let a finite number of lives live on it? Boone had
to die to let the baby be born?
    . Maybe not, considering ‘minor’
characters have, but it still was interesting how the event was timed down to
a few seconds in the editing.

that seemed to me just usually parraleling seen in many shows/films/etc…

  4. last night’s epi
Did anyone else notice we didn’t get a new episode after they showed a new epi previews Last week, And again they imply next week is new, but according to my yahoo tv guide it’s another old epi. I’m seriously ticked. So are All my other friends. Years ago there were 13 new shows, then reruns for the summer, This garbage of bringing repeats on in mid season is fairly new. Write to your networks and demand decent programming. Lost is the best thing since Farscape, or Firefly, We don’t want to be ripped off by more repeats than new shows….
