Comments Alex: Has some decent under-card matches – but a bad Rumble – the first half is Brock Lesnar (current champion) entering at #1 so he doesn’t have to fight anyone at Wrestlemania, beating the first 15 entrants before finally being elminated, and then we get a good half-length actual rumble

Finally, the picks of the week. Alex says, “I really like Stop Making Sense, not just becaue I like the music, but how well it presents it.” Blaine says, “I would say Casino Royale and The Hunt For Red October are both must own titles.”

  1. Superman: Red Son was a fun comic, I don’t think I’d mind catching that.

Frozen 2 was… well, it was definitely more Frozen. You know, in case you needed that.

      Dude…. Let it go.

I might be interesting in re-watching Gappa and Paris is Burning. I saw the latter at a local (long-defunct now) repertory theatre that I attended regularly back in the early 1990s. The former I saw as a kid. I’m told it was made as a sort-of-parody of the Gaiju genre, but it wasn’t cut or sold that way in North America. Whatever the truth might be, this is a new cut/release for the international market. It might be interesting if I see something differently (or just different) from what I saw on TV in the 70s.

  2. I’m pumped for Red Son. I also just realized I don’t own Hunt for Red October, which was one of my favorite movies from the 80’s. Might be time to rectify this.
