writes, According to Trek Today, Walter
Koenig has agreed to reprise Chekhov for a an
internet-only Trek series (no official Paramount
involvement, and NO B & B!!!) Star Trek: New
Voyages. The episode will be written by TOS
contributor D.C.
Fontana.
Can they do that?
Don’t they fear Paramount’s lawyer-fu?
Re: Can they do that?
It’s a non-profit venture funded from the producers’ pockets. I guess that helps.
They have two shows already done. Just watched ’em. The first was completed in 2003, the second was completed in 2004. The production is surprisingly good considering everything is shot on 480P DV camcorders. I’m assuming they use PCs for rendering special effects, and for editing.
As for acting, and writing … Well … :) Still, it’s not terrible, considering it’s fan-made. The first episode is a knock-off of when Q introduced Picard to the Borg. The second episode is actually pretty OK, even if it does deal with … Time travel.

Re: Can they do that?
Speaking of time travel. Anyone know when the Dr. Who review will get posted? I think I even spotted the bad wolf reference this week!
Re: Can they do that?
You got me wondering, so I went back and tried a few, dare I say “obvious” spots. Found it. But I can’t make out the whole word before “wolf”
Re: Can they do that?
Actually to me it looked liked the stuffed animal on the floor in the room was a wolf. It even had a red scarf.
Re: Can they do that?
So should I tell you, or would that spoil the “fun” of looking through the episode again and again?
Highlight for the answer -> On the bomb.
Re: Can they do that?
Schlechter Wolf. German. :)
