Fanzines remain a thing…

Even in the era of the World Wide Web, traditional fanzines still exist. Of course, they’ve gone online.

Fandom, too, survives, even if the pandemic keeps people apart. An SF Club geographically local to me released their latest issue (#62) of their fanzine, SideTrekked, which…

…features local reflections on fannish history and an account of the book and movie of A Boy and His Dog. It also features two contributions by yours truly: the toast I gave at their anniversary meeting, just before the pandemic shut things down, and a personal account of the online version of Penguicon.
