I loved Batman Begins. I hope the new
Superman franchise is in line with the best
work Singer and Spacey have turned out. I’m really,
really looking forward to King Kong.
However, some franchises should just stay dead. Let’s
hope this exceeds my expectations.
Digital Breast Reduction
There have been some rumors [google] floating around the internet that Disney decided to digitally reduce the size of Lindsay Lohan’s breasts, because they were too prominent for a G-rated movie. This has, of course, been denied by the movie’s director, Angela Robinson.
Re: Digital Breast Reduction
According to IMDB this isn’t just a rumor.
Re: Digital Breast Reduction
Yes. According to one of the news reports the IMDB may be the source of the rumor. Keep in mind that the some of the stuff on the IMDB is reported by users. The IMDB is not a news organization where the facts are rigorously checked.
Digital Editing
Instead of reducing her breasts, could they add a few pounds back onto her? The ‘anorexic coke-head’ look has unfortunately claimed another young starlet. :(
Syrupy sweetness
the syrupy sweetness is .. too … infectious … its eating my brain! help!
Hey, look, boobs!

The first one was really cute.
I loved the original one when I was a kid – and so went back to it a decade or two later, partially to see if it held up, and partially because I was up at 2am, and it was on.
It held up, surprisingly.
Remember, the main interaction in the first one is with Buddy Hackett, who thinks it’s animate, and Dean Jones, who thinks he’s insane. Everything the bug does (okay, up to a point) is explainable, which is part of the charm – maybe he’s imbuing it with his own beliefs, maybe there really is something there. That’s what scares me about the new one – no subtlety. He has eyebrows? The lights shift? Come ON.
Back to the original – and if nothing else you get to see a funny, clean (albeit not sober) Buddy Hackett. I cannot believe they managed to make that a G movie, considering it’s, well, Buddy Hackett.
let’s try this again. The first one was really cute.
