I saw it on the big screen before War of the Worlds… this is a Big Screen movie, no question about it!

…but giant gorilla, dinosaurs, and Jack Black? I’m sorry, I loved LOTR but I don’t see myself paying to see this.

Before I saw the trailer, I’d have agreed with you. However, the trailer hints at a character that Jack Black could play very well indeed.
BTW, anyone spot the Weta Digital crew in the trailer….ok Digital Wetas crew? That HAS to be an intentional wink wink nudge nudge. :)
