I suspect everyone knows that the first shuttle launch in recent years occured yesterday. The latest news (well, not for long) may be found here.

Shuttle, Foam, and Grounded again
“NASA said it was grounding the US space shuttle fleet after a large piece of foam insulation broke off from the fuel tank of the Discovery shuttle on liftoff.”
The rest can be found here:

and of course many other places.
The return of shuttle flights has proved short-lived!
BTW, does not work here. Use the html coding, pointy bracket a href=”actual url, including the http://“close pointy bracket type word you want as your link pointy bracket /a close pointy bracket.
Re: The return of shuttle flights has proved short-lived!
What he meant to say, was do it like this. Or, if you really want to get technical, like this (hoping this works):

Like so:
<a href=”http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/afp/20050727/ts_afp/usspaceshuttledebris_050727223131″ target=”_blank”>linky pop</a>
P.S. PH34R MY M4D HTML SK1llZ! : )
Due to the cancellation of future launches, this discussion has been hijacked.
Yeah, but my instructions were like, waaay funnier to read.

“[SuperTags]
This is a new innovation (well, it’s new here, anyway). If you want to do basic formatting of a comment, but don’t want to learn lots of complex HTML, this just might be for you.
First off: the SuperTagz checkbox used to be merely “Add linebreaks”. Well, it still does that too. But it also does…
* Automatically converts (most) Web addresses to hyperlinks. If you just put https://bureau42.com/ in your comment, it’ll show up like this: https://bureau42.com/
* Or you can do it yourself, complete with other text…
https://bureau42.com will look exactly the same.
* Or this is a cool site, which will appear as: this is a cool site “
Found at : https://bureau42.com/comment/tags.php
cool!
I’m glad they finally went.
I think the US government should simply shell out the dough to create a replacement shuttle system. Stop whining about the cost and do it.
missed it…
unfortunately I was presenting in Atlanta as it took off so I didn’t get to watch the launch, was really hoping to see it.
