Finally, the picks of the week. Alex says, “If you have a 4K player, and don’t feel like getting Tenet, Tremors is a very solid choice. On the anime side of things, I’d recommend the re-release of Paranoia Agent.” Blaine says, “by reputation, I’m willing to recommend Tenet. Of those I’ve personally seen, nothing stands out.”

    • Sounds like Nolan going back to his Memento roots. Speaking of which, I need to watch that again. It’s been a long time.

  1. Reviewed here, and I think the big screen added something. Or maybe just the fact that I could even see it on a big screen, a drive-in. Not much else here: Curse of Frankenstein is serviceable Hammer, with good leads. Roadkill, sadly, is not the low-budget Canadian cult comedy of the same name, so I cannot speak to it. This Roadkill sounds interesting, however.

    Tex Avery’s toons are always worth a look.
